UC Fit’s Group Fitness classes cater for all levels. If you are undecided on which classes to take part in please feel free to see below our short videos & read our summary descriptions of each class.
ABS is a fifteen minute, challenging workout which focuses on abdominal and core strength. It is perfect to add to your Gym session, or to combine with another class on the same day. Even though it is only 15 minutes, this high intensity class will definitely give you a workout. A great class to compliment with other group fitness classes or implement into your gym program.
BOOTCAMP combines weightlifting with High Intensity Interval Training to give you the ultimate full-body work out. BOOTCAMP is not like conventional classes; every session is unique and focuses on teaching correct technique whilst challenging you with a variety of exercises.
CIRCUIT class derives its name from its layout, where each person is on a work station setup up in a circle or circuit. After a set designated time, the instructor informs all participants to stop on this station & move onto the next station in the circuit. In this class you will be confronted with many different training methods all designed to push your cardio & strength to the next level whilst building longer leaner muscle.
HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) is a class that will help you achieve a greater level of cardiovascular fitness. Using body weight, plyometric and strength training exercises, each session is designed to get the heart rate up and make you sweat.
KICKBOXING is a fitness and skill-based class that teaches you proper KICKBOXING techniques whilst building up your Cardiovascular Fitness and Muscular Endurance. Each session you will be pushed to new levels with this fun and interactive class format.
The reason TAI CHI has endured and been admired for thousands of years is that the practice contains hidden depths of meaning that go well beyond the slow physical movements that people initially observe.
TAI CHI is both a martial art and the embodiment of certain philosophical principles. TAI CHI is one of the most comprehensive and holistic activities you can engage in.
YOGA is a dynamic and free flowing class that challenges you mentally and physically through a series of demanding poses designed to improve concentration, enhance flexibility and strengthen your body in ways you didn’t know were possible. Great for all levels of fitness.
