UC Fit’s Group Fitness classes cater for all levels. If you are undecided on which classes to take part in please feel free to read our in-depth descriptions of each class below.
ABS is a fifteen minute, challenging workout which focuses on abdominal and core strength. It is perfect to add to your Gym session, or to combine with another class on the same day. Even though it is only 15 minutes, this high intensity class will definitely give you a workout. A great class to compliment with other group fitness classes or implement into your gym program.
BOOTCAMP combines weightlifting with High Intensity Interval Training to give you the ultimate full-body work out. BOOTCAMP is not like conventional classes; every session is unique and focuses on teaching correct technique whilst challenging you with a variety of exercises.
CARDIO-BOX incorporates both boxing and fitness, designed to teach you the skills of boxing in a fun safe environment. These sessions will improve overall fitness, strength and reaction speeds, whilst developing coordination and self defence techniques.
CIRCUIT class derives its name from its layout, where each person is on a work station setup up in a circle or circuit. After a set designated time, the instructor informs all participants to stop on this station & move onto the next station in the circuit. In this class you will be confronted with many different training methods all designed to push your cardio & strength to the next level whilst building longer leaner muscle.
KICKBOXING is a fitness and skill-based class that teaches you proper KICKBOXING techniques whilst building up your Cardiovascular Fitness and Muscular Endurance. Each session you will be pushed to new levels with this fun and interactive class format.
RIDE IT is an indoor cycling workout that combines both the aerobic benefits of cycling and the muscle toning of functional fitness based training. Get smashed on and off the bike as you move between hill training and body weight exercises.
YOGA is a dynamic and free flowing class that challenges you mentally and physically through a series of demanding poses designed to improve concentration, enhance flexibility and strengthen your body in ways you didn’t know were possible. Great for all levels of fitness.
