After two weeks of playing ultimate Frisbee, the social sport competition between the Brumbies staff members and UCU team took each other on in a game of touch football.
Both sides contained world class ability with UCU CEO Joe Roff (86 caps for Wallabies) and Brumbies defensive coach Peter Ryan (155 caps for Brisbane Broncos) taking the field for their respective sides.
The Brumbies staff got off to a fast start to go in to the half-time break with a 5-2 lead.
UCU began the second half with much of the possession, but the Brumbies proved too good, eventually winning 9 to 4.
The staff members from Super Rugby’s highest placed Australian team now hold a 2-1 lead in the social sport series.
Next week will see the teams go head to head on the court in basketball.
If you are interested in playing social sport, registration for the four week competition closes on 7 April.
