O Week 2019 is nearly upon us! With heaps of action packed events including dodgem cars, speed friending, market day, donuts, fairy floss and a Canberra Bus Tour! It is clear that our students won’t be bored with nothing to do.

Get rid of the pre-uni stress by crashing into your new housemate that kept you awake last night! Or simply race your mates and see how long you can drive without crashing into someone else. We will be adding to the carnival vibe with free popcorn and fairy floss to keep your energy levels high! Find all the action on the lawns between the Library and Building 7.
Workshops and Information Station, Monday 4th Feb – Thursday 7th Feb 10am – 2pm Concourse
Check out the workshop and information station for details on all events and good things on campus. There will be extra fun workshops like skateboarding, DJing, guitar lessons more running throughout the week so make sure you drop in to find out when they’re on!
Ultimate O Week Bucket List, Monday 4th Feb – Friday 8th Feb, various locations
Sign up early in the week to take part in our ultimate O Week Bucket List featuring a list of fun tasks to complete during their first week on campus. Do things all university do in O Week; attend parties, get your student ID and even get a selfie with the VC! Happy Hour and Live Music @ The Well, Monday 4th Feb – Friday 8th Feb 5pm – 6pm The Well
Get down to your local on campus bar, The Well for daily Happy Hour drink specials. Enjoy live acoustic music with our own UC students performing live daily to create an atmosphere worth staying for! Don’t forget to check out their daily food and drink specials too!
Start off O Week 2019 with a food full of pancakes to start your day! Topped with delicious lemon juice and sugar, or whipped cream and berries, there is something for everyone. This will also be a great chance for you to meet the 2019 Student Representative Council Reps as they will be cooking your brekkie!
Ensuring you continue the strength to survive O Week 2019, our club and societies are hosting a free ‘build-a-burger’ lunch where you can engage with them and find out more about what they offer.
3×3 Basketball, Monday 4th Feb 12pm Concourse

New to campus? Or just simply want to meet new people? Enjoy the sunshine and partake in some speed friending activities on three dates throughout O Week to see who is also new on campus. Meet up to compare stories and showcase the free items you have obtained throughout the week. Attend one or attend all to secure an invite to the Speed Friending Reunion at the end of the week!
What better way to get clearer vision than wearing goggles made from donuts! Figure out why Homer Simpson loved these round pieces of dough and fall in love with them! Donuts will taste even more delicious if you share them with your friends from Speed Friending on beforehand.

Our student run Social Activities Club (SAC) will be hosting the first of their pre-parties for the week before our annual toga party. Grab your bed sheet but not your pillow because we know you won’t be ready for bed yet, head down to CLV lawns past Dominos for a lesson on toga tying and more fun.

After the VC’s official Commencement Ceremony, join us for the commencement challenge where all participants will receive a free shirt and defeat obstacles on the course around the campus. Enjoy a free BBQ afterwards and some healthy smoothies. There will be plenty of post fun run celebrations with the carnival in full action, live music and local reptiles if you dare to hold them!
