UCFitx is located in Building 29 at the University of Canberra.
Our gym is equipped with:
- Machine weights
- Light to medium weighted dumbbells
- Barbells and medicine balls
- Squat rack
- Smith machine
- Lifting platform
- Sled track
- Allocated space for stretching, abdominal and body weight exercises
The cardio component of the gym includes:
- Step machines
- Cross trainers
- Recumbent and spin bikes
- Rowing machines
In 2020 we invested in brand NEW cardio equipment making there no better time to sign up!
If you are after a non-commercial gym with a friendly and welcoming vibe, then we are the right place for you!
You don’t need to have an association with the University of Canberra to use our facilities, you just need to be 16 years or older.
We have a variety of affordable membership options, for more information see Membership Pricing.
We also offer casual visit passes for Students ( $15) and General public ( $20) for those who do not want to purchase a membership.

Main goal – raise heart rate & muscular strength.
Complete three circuits.
- 40 alternating battle ropes
- 10 box jumps
- 10 pushups
- 10 glute bridges (single leg optional)
- 10 TRX inverted row
- 10 goblet squats
- 200 metre row (rowing machine)
- 1 minute plank
