With the semester 1 mixed touch football season commencing in less than two weeks, the University of Canberra Otters have their sights firmly set on making an impact against the rest of the competition in 2017.
The team enjoyed much on field success last year, claiming the Wagga Touch Knockout title in November and finished in fourth place at the Australian University Games in Perth.
Off the field, the UC Otters will have a vastly different committee running the club in 2017, due to previous members leaving their positions after completing their studies at university.
Eilish Winbank will take over as club president, while Ben Wylie will be her deputy.
The countless hours of enjoyment that its players have is what makes the UC Otters such a great club to be a part of. And under the guidance of Winbank, Wylie and the other committee members, the club culture of the UC Otters will only continue to grow.
If you are interested in playing for the UC Otters, they will have a stall set up during O-week market day on Wednesday 8th February and will be accepting registrations for the upcoming season.
Games will be played on Monday nights at the UC ovals commencing week 1, registration is only $280 which includes team shirts.
