Following on from a very successful support slot to Blondie and Cyndi Lauper back in April, the Clouds have been very busy. With appearances on Triple J’s Nineties week, a Rage Guest spot, Double J’s Artist in Residence for five Sundays in July, massive social media response to live versions of 4pm and Wichita Linesman and all the whilst writing and recording new material.
The Clouds announce today that they are hitting the road on a national tour in November to support the release of a brand new single “Beautiful Nothingness”.
Joining the tour as special best guests are Falling Joys. Old touring partners from the 90’s the Joys and The Clouds did many a lap of the country together in the nineties and this tour will be the first tour the Falling Joys have undertaken in 20 years.
Featuring the classic Joys line up of Suzie Higgie (Gtr/Vox), Stuart G Robertson (Gtr), Pat Hayes (Bass/Vox) and Peter Velzen (Drums/Vox), the tour sees the band play Queensland, NSW, ACT, Victoria and WA.
